Who we are
Calum Martin - Director and Electrical Engineering Consultant
Calum is a highly experienced power systems engineer who has worked with clients throughout various sectors within the UK. In 2015, Calum was inspired to help clients in the oil and gas sector with arc flash safety after a number of incidents occurred offshore. Since this time Calum has developed specialist knowledge in arc flash and has presented to industry bodies on the subject. Building on this wealth of experience and expertise Calum founded Safe Arc Solutions in order to support clients with their electrical safety and compliance needs.
Nick Bramhall - Director and Electrical Engineering Consultant
Nick is a Chartered Electrical Engineer and Member of the Institute of Engineering and Technology with 15 years of experience working across a wide range of brownfield projects, asset operations and study scopes. Over the last few years he has developed an in depth knowledge of arc flash, including completing formal training on IEEE 1584 and undertaking a number of detailed studies for clients across different sectors. Nick has a keen interest in making arc flash simpler to understand and manage.

We operate an ISO 9001:2015 compliant Quality Management System which has been assessed and certified by Citation ISO Certification. This ensures that the electrical engineering study and consultancy services we offer are backed by robust quality control processes which we seek to continuously improve and which are audited regularly.
